Hello hello my beautiful humans!
First off, thank you SO much for the incredible feedback on my last Drugstore Picks post – fun fact, this was the second most-viewed blog post after my Sunday Scaries one 😉 If you haven’t read the drugstore items I was loving in May – check it out here.
So with the success from last month, I’m coming at you with a new top five picks for JUNE! Since it’s now summer, a lot of the products I have been using have switched over, as my face tends to be a bit more sweatier (lol) when I’m breaking it down at Parker House or I’m trying to keep my face from getting sunburned on the beach in beautiful Manasquan!! Lets jump into it:
Quick note: I AGAIN linked out to where I could find them the cheapest. Your welcome you can pay my rent next month, AGAIN!
- La Roche-Posay Toleriane Double Repair Face Moisturizer
SO I have been reading up on dermatologist’s most-recommended products, and this one appeared on many different dermo’s lists! I tend to get some tiny tiny skin tags that form from either sun damage or lack of skin exfoliation (I’m working on it?), but regardless – this has SPF 30 so wearing this on it’s own or under an SPF will be a god sent for your skin! It’s also oil free which helps my combination skin!
2. Simple Cleansing Wipes – Makeup Remover
A staple in my routine for a few months now – while everyone is super obsessed with the Neutrogena makeup removing wipes, they tend to sting the sensitive parts of my face (aka my undereyes!) These cleansing wipes are SO good to sensitive skin. I lovee them! Also have a super light scent so not overly fragrant.
3. Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer
In terms of foundation and concealer, I think there can be a stigma that you should tend to buy it from the high-end brands & stores- F THAT! Some drugstore products can be just as good as those high-end brands. This concealer from Maybelline tends to be super lightweight and not crease as easy as some of my high-end brands do…. which I was shook about but it’s the truth! TIP: When buying concealer, you always want to go 2-3 shades lighter!
5. Kiss Faux Eyelashes – Style KFL01
Soooo I have never masted false lashes, besides if they are eyelash extensions. The brand KISS that is sold at Walgreens is by far the easiest to apply, in which I suggest you also buy the lash glue from them as well. I watched a bunch of tutorials which helped me, but using a flexible lash can help a TON. These lashes especially helped my dumbass put them on correctly – highly recommend. Also the one I’m wearing in my most recent Instagram 😉
There ya have it, SUGAS! Hope you enjoyed this month’s top picks at the drugstore, let me know if you have anymore you’d recommend or if have any thoughts on the ones I listed above!
xoxo,
Hales
