HAPPY NEW YEAR my sweet peas! I hope everyone had a fabulous holiday and awesome time ringing in 2020. 🎉
As I mentioned in my Instagram post, this year I plan to get much more personal on my blog & YouTube channel – no topic is too taboo! I’ve tend to think of something and 95% of the time I’m like… eh is this too much? Well NO! NOT IN 2020! ❌Therefore, the first blog post of this year we’re going to be talking about all things bloating ~ and how I decreased it over the past couple of months!
Now I won’t bore you with my bloating story, but I have never lived a life where I wasn’t bloated. Not being dramatic – after every meal I would eat I would notice my pants getting tighter and tighter, and I would also experience some massive discomfort in my stomach. 😞Therefore, around September of 2019 I realized I needed to make a change, and I’m happy to say bloating has not been an issue for me in months. Below I’ve included my tips, and linked to the products I specifically use! Disclaimer, everyones body is different, but I want to share my journey in case it can help anyone else! 😊
Tip 1 : Apple Cider Vinegar (Gummy Form)
Ok, I have always told myself I would start drinking more ACV, but the taste of it makes my blood run cold! That’s why I was thrilled to try out Goli Gummies which contain the proper amount of daily ACV and a ton of additional vitamins such as B12, B9 & infused with superfoods. And the taste is actually amazing! I’ve been taking these gummies for about three months, and I have seen minimal bloating ESPECIALLY after meals and at nighttime, when it used to be at its worst.
Goli was kind enough to hook me up with a discount code: use “hopefullymuzing” at checkout and you’ll receive 5% off of your order! Link to purchase here.
Tip 2 : P R O B I O T I C S
Now I know this is kind of obvious but boy does it WORK! I will be honest that I am not the most consistent, but I have been making a point of adding my probiotics into my pill case (lol) and I’m able to track that I’m taking it everyday. The probiotic I use is Bio-Kult, which . you can find on Amazon here (and by clicking on the image below). I watched a few YouTube reviews and this one seems to have the most benefits – with the least side effects. In the spirit of keeping it open and honest, this keeps you very ~regular~ 😉 I’ve also included another option I have heard raving reviews about from my peers!
Tip 3 : Activated Charcoal Before Big Meals and/or Bedtime
When I was in the thick of my bloating problems, I was Googling any and all solutions. One that stunned me was an article talking about Activated Charcoal – especially this quote “Activated charcoal is a potent natural treatment used to trap toxins and chemicals in the body, allowing them to be flushed out so the body doesn’t reabsorb them,” explains Josh Axe, DC, DNM, CNS. I primarily will take this at night if I am so uncomfortably bloated before bedtime and I tend to notice it go down SO MUCH in the morning – feels like magic! Below are the two I have tried:
